LEFTA were engaged to report on defective works in a multi-million dollar luxury home and to manage the resolution of remedial works pursuant to the Home Building Act (“Act”).

Key Issues:

• Provide a detailed report on defective items to satisfy the requirements for notification pursuant to the Act
• Liaise with the building contractor to rectify defects without the requirement to lodge formal complaints with Fair Trading
• Supervise rectification works
